PEDERSEN & LUND
Pedersen & Lund is an Aarhus based artist collaboration merging 3D-photography and oldschool stereoscopy with performative bodily investigations.
The two artists undertake explorations of ritualistic structures as well as the absurd and the undefinable - staged in dystopian and dark settings.
The uncanny aesthetics of the photo series, shown in the three 3Dviewers, unfolds through performative actions, choreography, changing settings and props dealing with aspects of power, control and sex.
You: Voyeur. She: Totem. Posessing and forcing your gaze.
She changes her stage, displaces her being.
She arises from projections, shapes the unseen, penetrates light.
Your eyes feed her. Give birth to fluid states of being.
Transform her throughout history: She is every woman.

STEFAN ENGELBRECHT
“Imellem” (In Between) is a video installation by Stefan Engelbrecht, former student at Fotografisk Skole and current Art & Technology student at Aalborg University. “Imellem” explores the spaces in between movements. The spaces which normally are impossible for the human eye to see.
In the simplistic black and white scenery the spectator is given a glimpse of the world that lies between the details. In “imellem” Engelbrecht visualize how deeply personal the act of movement is. On one hand, what the eye see is the reflection of light being decoded in the mind of the viewer, yet what is actually experienced on the other side of the eye depend on the state of the viewer. Moving, touching and feeling. On a human state it all comes down to the experience of the individual, raising the relevant question “what is real”.
