Add to the CSS section: Xyle scope

very good list - w3schools.com is fab.
personally I would kill the wysiwyg editor section and replace it with one link to BBedit but I am extremly biased against wysiwyg - the opiate of the webmastards. |
That's why the first tip is learn hand-coding. BTW, being a hand-coder I find DW8 to be a great editor as I discussed in it's thread.
But I've added a list of code-editors now too. Hope this satisfies you :) |
bah humbug. a baby bunny dies every time someone uses dreamONweaver. its so sad.
|
Just as an aside ( and many thanks -- erik -- for taking the time / initiative on this one ) upstairs I'm getting a "square block" in Win IE and a " ? " in Win Firefox before the list items.
|
That's weird. Or it is IE at last. I had no problem using Unicode with the latest versions of IE and FF on Win on other pages. This appears to have the right declaration too.
|
No RoR! Come on e r i k, I expect more from a modern web designer like yourself.
|
let me say here here to erik for making the web developer forum interesting again!!!
i have been web developing since 1995 when all we had to know was the paragraph tag - I would hate to have to start from scratch now. is that why i am so cynical???! keep up the discussions all! |
|
To CSS, we have to at least add PIE's one true layout article:
http://www.positioniseverything.net/...onetruelayout/ And just a great collection of web dev resources: http://www.fiftyfoureleven.com/resources/categories |

Added.

Why no Objective-C sites?
|
List em, and I'll add to the first post!
