OS 9 and custom resolutions
Has anyone had success getting custom screen resolutions to work in OS 9? We have an old Wallstreet II PowerBook G3 that we'd like to hook up to our 1080p television via VGA. It works, but the highest available resolution is only 1280x1024. I seem to recall seeing photos at one point of even System 7 running at a higher resolution than that.

Try SuperRes or SwitchRes. Those were my old standbys in OS 9.

Not sure what Wallstreet II is (in my book they go Wallstreet, PDQ, Lombard) but most of those old laptop graphics sets were severely limited in max resolution support. It may just be a hardware limitation.

Sorry - I've seen it referred to as a Wallstreet II elsewhere in the past. It's a PDQ - the 233MHz model with L2 cache.

We'll try the two recommended by reader50 and see how it goes.
